Hi Everyone,
Its been a long time since i posted in RC but i have never been too far apart.
Just want to add a few comments with regards to this survey.
1. First of all i believe the survey question is flawed.
The most appropriate question should have been, whether the forumers want to change the current forumboard to another forumboard. The alternate board is also not mentioned for comparison.
2. Secondly, why is there a need to change the forumboard as it has been serving RC quite well? What are the reasons? None has been mentioned.
3. Thirdly, what are the implications or damages that will be caused if we move to an alternate forumboard? Especially when the majority of our registered members may not migrate along. (ie. when Jac's Fan Club with 1700 plus members decided to migrate to a new board, the registered members of the new board dropped to less than 200.) Moving to a new board will also mean loss of all current content as well as member database. Migration is never easy.
There are lot more implications to be considered before such an important decision is carried forth and implemented, and a comprehensive discussion among all committee members and interested parties must be first held before any action is taken.
Hope everyone understands and thinks things through thoroughly.

PS. Is everyone confusing RC WEBSITE & RC FORUMBOARD? At this point of time RC does not have a website, only the forumboard. Setting up of a website does not have to interfere with the current forumboard, as the forum is only one part of the entire site.
I am all for the setting up the official RC website which is long overdue. My suggestion is to use a content management system such as Mambo or Nuke to build the RC main site while retaining the curent forumboard.

Salam....InsyaAllah nakashah akn try ikut mane forum ni pegi....selagi nakashah dpt jejaki and selagi forum ni Djln yg lurus, insyaAllah selagi tu nakashah akn support....cume klu blh ape2 prbhn psl forum ni mntk infrmkn melalui email sbb mngkn ade ahli yg tk dpt login sentiase, jd mngkn tk terbace p'kmbngn t'baru forum ni...cnthnye, nakashah sendiri bile blk semenanjung nnt tk dpt nk login sentiase...cuti pnjng plk 2...jd harap phk admint dpt informkn dkt email k....spy tk terlepas ape2 perkembangan....thanks....

to me, my advice to you all.....
WE MUST MAKE THE 1ST MOVE TO GO FORWARD ... THE ARRANGEMENT N PLANS HAS GONE FOR SO LONG ALREADY.... SOME OF US CANT WAIT... ESPECIALLY ITS THE HOPE FROM OUR BIG BOSS TO HAVE A PROPER N BETTER WEBSITE... (but, of course, its always up to us to decide...)

dan.... harap semua usah risau...
bila kita hijrah ke suatu tempat, kita iringi doa dan selawat agar tempat yang baru adalah yang lebih baik buat kita... sepertimana hijrah Rasulullah SAW dari Mekah ke Madinah..
terlalu banyak fikiran dan persoalan dan terlalu banyak ancaman dan kecaman yang diperdengarkan....
jadi, kita harus percaya, hijrah rc ke website baru akan memberikan sesuatu yang baru dan lebih baik buat kita semua...
InsyaAllah.... sesiapa yang ketinggalan keretapi atau lama tidak menjejak rc, pasti akan kita tinggalkan jejak di forum lama ini utk memudahkan mereka menyertai kita di website baru nanti...
kebimbangan yang melampau tidak sama sekali membawa sebarang kemajuan dan perkembangan sihat kepada semua pihak melainkan bakal jadi beban kepada setengah-setengah pihak yang lain sehingga yang bersemangat hilang tenaganya... yang bersungguh asyik tertangguh.. yang bersabar hilang hatinya.. yang mencintai menjadi benci.. yang setia menjadi bosan....
maka.... harap kita semua dapat bersatu hati dan sentiasa percaya setiap HIJRAH yang kita lakukan adalah untuk kebaikan bersama... dan bersama-sama lah kita bersatu menjayakan cita-cita yang baik ini...
