Kat rumah kawanku ade semua episod Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, and it was a funny silly drama. Cuma rasanye, sy tak minat korean drama. Tapi Stained Glass - yg ditayangkan masa 2005 masa ramadhan tu best.

TAMBAHAN , FOR KOREANS FILM N DRAMA DEPA PUNYE CERITE TU VVVEEERRRYYY EKSTREEEEEEEEEM . I mean koreans take the subject too ekstrem , cerita cinte ke , perang ke .... compare to the rest of the world , ................................... lama x masuk sini, umah dah kena hias lagi! good job ms admin well, straight to the point... my knowledge on japanese and korean now not depending on the latest updates...dah lama x tgk tv n movies... kinda agree with above quotes, tp x penah lagi tgk korean films yg bukan unsur cinta...mcm x adil pulak nk bg komentar nih... my fav japanese drama, mestilah lakonan2 from takuya kimura, he's very natural in acting, he can sing too... he has his own way to deliver the character so well... he's just like johnny depp i guess... drama dia yg plg suka, pride, citer pasal ice hockey game...mmg esprit de corps la kalo tgk citer tuh... tambah2 lak, music background from queen...naik semangat je...heheh korean soap drama dah mula nak jadi cam hindustan (bermula dgn winter sonata, autumn in my heart, spring days and alike...). i mean, dr segi flow drama, agak dragging and memerlukan emosi tahap gaban spy penonton dia berjuraian air mata, smpi satu tahap, penonton mula rasa statik ngn citer2 yg bertemakan cinta-dramatik nih...or in simpler words (stereotype)....i was a big fan of winter sonata, habiskan tgk 7 cd dia in a row...giler aa time tuh..those were the days kot, now not anymore...hehe.. few of them, mcm full house pulak comel, and ada satu lg citer kat 8tv yg pasal kisah cinta seorang chef perempuan dgn tauke restoran, apa pulak tajuknya, lupa dah...i liked tht drama! my 10 sen, kalo drama nih, bila dh lekat tgk tv, that's it...kita akan jd no 1 fan la...and i actually sangat sensitif dgn bahasa yg digunakan, voice over translation somehow bothers my ears, heheheh...no offense...lagi suka, dia stay dgn original language diorang...

My opinion, Korean dramas are not my cup of tea. Tried to be loyal to the dramas a few times but I just could not commit myself to it. My reason; too draggy... I like Japanese drama better... Maybe coz the series are not as draggy as the Korean drama... My favourite Japanese drama must be Saigo no Kissu (It was aired on tv3 many years ago, but I had watched the series before TV3 aired it coz I was an avid fan of Japanese movies/series/music etc at that time. In term of films, I like Korean movies more coz the stories are much cooler... Japanese movies are mostly melodramatic... Draggy at times... Most Japanese action movies contains more talk than action... But Korean movies are the opposite... Action movies means action, comedy means comedy where you ca laugh your heart out... My favourite Korean movies: Arahan and **** is Zero... One more thing, I couldn't follow Korean drama on TV becoz of the Mandarin voice over... I agree with you tempe... The voice overs are annoying...

yup, voice overs annoy me a lot. i rather wait for the vcd's out in the stores than watch the voic overs in tv. i love both japanese too achol, and my favourite is Yamato Nadeshiko ( a few years back in TV3), starring Nanako Matsushima. I wonder what exactly Saigo no Kissu is? do u have the English name for it? Yamato Nadeshiko = Perfect Woman. another favourite of mine is the Power Office Girls..haha..it's really a good comedy. i have to admit that japanese sometimes sounds harsh in conversations as if they were quarreling or something, but that is actually add some spices into the drama. and yes again, korean movies are a lot better than japanese. some Japanese melodramatics that i seems to like is Love Letter, kinda slow but good storyline indeed:)

Saigo no Kissu? If I recalled correctly, the title is translated as First Kiss... the series is starred by Takeshi kashiwabara, a very handsome actor who is not that well known in Malaysia... look up his name in the internet... you'd be amazed... so jambu!!!

SASSY GIRL-CHUN HYANG[/u] A romantic commedy drama. Chun-hyang is a simple girl residing in Namwon. She is a pretty and intelligent student. She strives hard in school as well as in part-time jobs to provide money for her and her mom. Her mother is a singer in a cabaret. Being the school’s top student, Chun-hyang keeps a conservative and reserved image. While Mong-ryong is a problem child from Seoul who was forced to transfer to Namwon due to his father’s work as chief of police. He is the kind of guy that has the bad boy image, but has the face to prove himself as the newest rebel heartthrob. Hong Chae-rin is Mong-ryong first love. Byun Hak-do, the rich and arrogant CEO of DODO Productions is known to be tough. But when he meets Chun-hyang, his world turns upside down and realizes that he cannot resist her charm.Chun-hyang and Mong-ryong both got accepted to Hangkook University. But because Chun-hyang knew that Mong-ryong would go after Chae-rin, she decided to just end the relationship. THE CHARACTERSSEONG CHUN-HYANG (played by HAN CHAE-YEONG)[/u] Because of poverty, Chun-hyang has to hold several part-time jobs to make her living. She delivers newspapers, cleans ponds and works as a photographer. Nonetheless, she studies hard at school and achieves good academic performance. She is regarded as the beauty queen of her school. LEE MYONG-RYONG (played by JAE-HEE)Lee Mong-ryong is a tough but very simple-minded and hot-tempered guy. Although he is the son of the police station chief, he always gets into trouble in school. With the help of Chun-hyang, he enrolls into a prestigious university, achieving both love and career success at the same time. However, his love toward Chun-hyang is put to test when he meets his first love, Chae-rin. BYEON HAK-DO (played by EOM TAE-WOONG)[/i] In the classic “Legend of Chun-hyang,” Byeon Hak-do is a corrupt public official. But in this drama, he is the CEO of an entertainment company, who helps Chun-hyang whenever she gets into trouble, reminding of the “Daddy Long Legs” character. HONG CHAE-RIN (played by PARK SI-EUN)[/i] Chae-rin was Mong-ryong’s high-school senior. She is the first love of Mong-ryong’s and a rival of Chun-hyang’s. As an opportunistic character, she knows that Mong-ryong likes her, but keeps ignoring him until Mong-ryong passes the difficult state bar exam. She is a sinister character, who interferes with the relationship between Mong-ryong and Chun-hyang, eventually making them break up with each other. ************
[/color] well.. to me.. overall.. ok lar.. jalan citer slow sikit.. but i still think chun-hyang tu lagi sesuai kalau di-couple-kan dengan byeon hak-do sorry!!!

Whoa, thaks for these info! ;D in My sassy girl, i like EOM TAE-WOONG more than other actor, and HAN CHAE-YEONG is second, i think the acting of the 'pakcik' made the drama better!
